When and where will ACIS 2027 take place?
The conference will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 17–20 November 2027.
What happens on 17 November?
Wednesday, 17 November is the pre-conference workshop day. The main scientific conference will take place from 18–20 November.
Is workshop registration included in the conference fee?
Pre-conference workshops require separate registration unless a combined registration package is selected.
Where is the conference venue?
The venue will be announced on the conference website once finalized.
Who can attend?
The conference is open to researchers, practitioners, policymakers, health professionals, community organizations, funders, educators, students, and others interested in implementation.
Do I need to be an ASIS member?
Participation is open to both members and non-members. ASIS members may receive a discounted registration rate.
What is the official conference language?
The official conference language is English. Information about interpretation or other language support will be provided if available.
Can I submit work that is not a randomized trial?
Yes. ACIS welcomes qualitative studies, mixed-methods studies, observational evaluations, policy analyses, economic evaluations, participatory research, programme experience, implementation practice cases, and methodological work.
Can I submit an ongoing study?
Ongoing studies may be submitted when meaningful interim findings or implementation learning are available. Protocol-only submissions may be considered within designated sessions.
Will virtual participation be available?
The participation format is being finalized. Information about virtual or hybrid access will be announced on the website.
Will travel scholarships be available?
Limited scholarships may be available, subject to funding. Eligibility and application information will be announced separately.
Can the conference provide a visa invitation letter?
Registered international participants may request an invitation letter. Participants remain responsible for applying for and obtaining their visas.
Will participants receive certificates?
Certificates of participation and presentation are expected to be available for eligible registered participants.
